Tamika Washington, ESQ.

Tamika Washington was a Partner with Legis Group LLC, where her legal practice focused on probate law, real estate, and employment discrimination. Her work had a unique distinction in assisting clients in the defense and pursuit of claims regarding fraudulent title transfer.

Prior to joining Legis Group, Ms. Washington founded the Law Offices of Tamika Washington, P.C., where she worked tirelessly for 12 years on behalf of employees in federal court, advised large entities on employee compliance, and assisted estate administrators in handling the property of their loved ones and in pursuing wrongfully transferred property.

Ms. Washington's extensive experience also included serving as a Philadelphia Assistant City Solicitor, where she successfully litigated hundreds of cases involving experts in the physical and mental well-being of children and their families. Her wealth of experience was further honed during her service as an arbitrator and volunteer Arbitration Judge Pro Tempore (settlement judge) for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia, where she presided over commercial transactions, real estate matters, and claims against transportation agencies and municipal authorities.

Ms. Washington received her Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law and her Bachelor's Degree from Brooklyn College, City University of New York. She was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, as well as the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.

Throughout her career, Ms. Washington was dedicated to enriching her legal and civic community. She was a Voting Member of the Pennsylvania Bar House of Delegates and the former Vice President for the National Bar Association, Women Lawyers Division in Philadelphia. Ms. Washington was also the co-founder of the Legal Ministry at Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia, where she served as a deacon. Additionally, she served on the board of My Place Germantown, a non-profit organization that provides permanent housing for the disabled homeless, and volunteered as an attorney at educational workshops regarding property rights through the non-profit "Let's See if We Can Help, Inc."

Ms. Washington resided with her husband, Charles Washington, and sons in Philadelphia, where she left an indelible mark on the legal landscape.
